Description:
The beautiful town of Lucca, dating back to the Roman Age, is surrounded by its 16th century wall, still in tact. With its charming, narrow streets, it is small enough to be manageable and the city offers many hidden delights.

This charming apartment is located in a very central position, in the medieval part of Lucca, 50 metres away from the Guinigi Tower - one of the most renowned attractions of the town. Restaurants, cafés and shops are therefore all within walking distance.

The bright interiors of Il Mezzanino are furnished in a very cosy style with great care for details. The apartment has also been provided with all modern facilities, including Sat-TV, stereo and a WiFi connection. The apartment is situated on the mezzanine floor, between the ground and first floor (piano nobile) of a period building which has been completely restored.

The very helpful owners live in the same building and are available to assist their guests. Day trips to the most famous historical Tuscan towns, as well as to the Versilian coast, are easily to organize thanks to the vicinity to both the motorway exit and the Lucca train station.

Ground floor: Entrance, laundry room.
First floor: Sitting-room, kitchen/dining-room, double bedroom with en-suite bathroom (shower only), twin bedroom, single bedroom (with no windows and suitable for a teenager), bathroom (bath and shower).

NOTE: It is not possible to enter the historic center of Lucca by car. It is therefore necessary to have the number of your car on the Friday before the arrival to get permission.
