Description:
This complex of 8 apartments is situated between the valley of the river Arno and the hills of the Chianti region; beautiful, peaceful with an enchanting view on the vineyards and olive groves and is surrounded by imposing cypresses and oak trees. Several very old buildings have been completely rebuilt, strictly according to the latest regulations, are provided with modern comforts and been divided into 8 apartments. All these apartments are furnished in the traditional Tuscan style, all with an open fire place.

Already at first sight, the structures makes a good impressiom, with e.g. pots with plants and flowering shrubs as well as little box-trees. Although the rooms are not very spacious, they are big enough for a wonderful stay and, as already said, nicely furnished. The same goes for the kitchens. All apartments have a terrace or a space to sit outside, providing you for ample opportunity to enjoy your meals under the warm, Italian sky for as long as you would want. Both direction and personnel are friendly and eager to help and answer questions. The azienda makes its own wine, olive-oil and other typically Tuscan products which you can buy at the reception. You reach the complex via a so-called “strada bianca”, an unpaved way (see the big picture). There is a beautiful swimming pool – so nice, that we, with permission of course, choose the picture of this pool to accentuate the ultimate holiday feeling in our introduction – and a tennis court. Lovely views of the surroundings!

N.B.: There are steps leading to the swimming pool! The complex is to be reached by a strada bianca (unpaved road) of 500 m. length.

Facilities:
Reception, where you can get all possible information on excursions etc. in the neighbourhood, places worth while visiting, addresses of restaurants (the owners, Stefano and Daniela Cecchi, know the surroundings to a T), swimming-pool (6 x 12 m, depth 1,40-1,60 m) with sun-chairs and parasols, tennis-court (with electricity), barbecue for common use and common use of washing machine, WiFi-Internet, screens on the windows and parking space.

Possibilities for sport/excursions:
Mountain bikes for rent; possibility of tracking with a special guide.

Distances:
In the villages Bucine and Mercatale, both at about 2 km. distance, you will find shops, a bank and a post office. Arezzo 30 km, Siena 40 km, Florence 50 km.

Quercia (ground floor, 95 m², 4 + 2 pers.): Spacious living-/dining room with open fire place and double sofa-bed, kitchen with dishwasher, 1 double bedroom and 1 bedroom with 2 beds, bathroom with double washing basin, toilet, bidet and bath. Terrace with table and 4 chairs.
Vigneto (ground floor, 85 m², 6 + 1 pers.): Living-/dining room with open fire place and a single sofa-bed, big terrace with table and 6 chairs, kitchen with dishwasher, 2 double bedrooms, 1 bedroom with 2 beds, 1 bathroom with basin, toilet, bidet and bath and 1 bathroom with basin, toilet, bidet and shower.
Leccio (ground floor, 60 m², 4 pers.): Living-/dining room with open fire place, small kitchen, 1 double bedroom, 1 bedroom with 2 beds, bathroom with basin, toilet, bidet and shower, outside table with 4 chairs.
Ulivo (ground floor, 50 m², 2 + 2 pers.): Living-/dining room with open fire place and double sofa-bed, big terrace with sitting corner, small kitchen, double bedroom, bathroom with basin, toilet, bidet and shower.
Melograno (ground floor, 40 m², 3 pers.): Living-/dining room with open fire place, small kitchen, 1 double bedroom, 1 single bedroom, bathroom with basin, toilet, bidet and shower. Outside table with chairs.
Noce (first floor, 40 m², 3 pers.): Living-/dining room with open fire place, small kitchen, 1 double bedroom, 1 single bedroom, bathroom with basin, toilet, bidet and shower, table & chairs outside.
Olmo (first floor, 60 m², 4 pers.): Living-/dining room with open fire place, small terrace with sitting corner, small kitchen, 1 double bedroom, 1 bedroom with 2 beds, bathroom with basin, toilet, bidet and shower.
Ippocastano (first floor, 80 m², 4 + 2 pers.): Big living-/dining room with open fire place and double sofa-bed, kitchen with dishwasher, 1 double bedroom, 1 bedroom with 2 beds, bathroom with basin, toilet, bidet and shower. This apartment has an outside sitting arrangement in the garden.
